"Animation Poses" or "A Day Job Relief"

I usually hold a pen and paper at the grasp of my hand while working on computer. Drawing comes as my day job relief. These are the highlights of my posing exercises. I tried to tell a simple story with one drawing. Some of these characters may seem to be a part of a single story but that was not my intention.

Past six months I was a member of a team for visual reconstruction of Justiniana Prima. First part of a project lasted 6 months and during that period I had the honour to model a very detailed capitals for curch pillars. Details can be found on http://www.ahap-serbia.org/ .

While my short film is in progress I will post my models from that project.

Day Two of my Blogging

I am working on a my first animated short. Now it is in a planning of shots and final designing of environment. A story is set in a stone age. I am sharing some concepts I've done for the one of the characters.

First Words

My name is Miljan Novcic and I am 27 years old. I live in Belgrade, Serbia and have a wife and a little daughter Tara.

My main occupation is 3D graphic and animation. The Main reason for creating this blog is to be able to share my work with the rest of the world. No one can find any use of it if it remains on my HDD. I hope to get a good feedback from you (at least for my English :) ) and that this blog will become your regular stop.
I named this blog "My Concentration" reffering to the 1st lesson in book "animators Survival Kit" by Richard Williams: Animation is Concentration.
